So this issue has come up a few times and I just found a solution to it. The problem is that thWordpress admin area, especially the widget page is not iOS friendly. This causes problems for iphone, iPad, or other iOS device users who want to adjust their sidebar but they can’t because of the drag and drop limitations of the iOS system.
So the work around is this: on the widgets page, look in the top right corner for screen options. Click it and choose enable accessibility mode. Voila! You now have add and edit buttons that allow you to move your sidebars, even on an iPhone or iPad.
